Cars are an excellent mode of transportation in this township. Parking is quite easy. A majority of the houses for sale in this township are located in areas that are not very suitable for pedestrians as almost no daily errands can be run without the use of a car. Although biking is better in certain sectors than others, it is also difficult to commute by bicycle in this township since there are a good number of hills for cyclists to brave, and the cycling infrastructure is quite bad.

Housing

About one third of homes in Tehkummah were constructed before the 1960s, while many of the remaining buildings were constructed in the 1960s and the 1990s. The sizeable proportion of single detached homes in the housing stock of this township is an important part of its character.
