This township is particularly car friendly. It is very easy to access a parking spot. Traveling on foot is not very practical for residents in The Archipelago since almost no daily needs can be carried out without a car. This township is also not very suited for biking because there are a good number of slopes for cyclists to brave, and the bicycling infrastructure is not very extensive.

Housing

Roughly 90% of the properties in the township are occupied by homeowners and 10% are rented. In this part of Parry Sound District, almost all dwellings are single detached homes. About one third of properties in this township were constructed in the 1960s and 1970s, while many of the remaining buildings were built in the 1980s and the 2000s. This township offers mainly four or more bedroom and three bedroom homes.

Services

There are no high schools and no primary schools in The Archipelago. Furthermore, it can be very difficult to reach daycares as a pedestrian. With respect to eating, purchasing one's groceries usually necessitates the use of a vehicle in The Archipelago.
