People who prefer a slower-paced ambience will enjoy Tweddle Place. This neighbourhood is very quiet, as there isn't a lot of street noise or city clamour. Finally, public green spaces, like Malcolm Tweddle Park, are especially well-distributed and there are a few of them close by for residents to check out, which makes them very easy to reach.


Tweddle Place enables homeowners to get around using several alternative methods of transportation. Thanks to about 10 nearby bus lines, the reasonably good public transit access makes transit a viable option for many people. Tweddle Place is also amenable to biking because the bicycling network is good, and there are few slopes to confront cyclists. Travelling on foot is not particularly practical for residents in this part of the city as few daily needs can be carried out by walking. On the other hand, the car is usually the best way to navigate this neighbourhood. Most properties for sale are a rather short car ride from the closest highway, and accessing a parking spot is generally easy.


In Tweddle Place, about half of dwellings are single detached homes, whereas the remainder are mainly small apartment buildings and townhouses. A majority of the housing growth in this neighbourhood occurred between 1960 and 1980. This part of the city offers mainly four or more bedroom and three bedroom homes. Around 55% of the dwellings in the neighbourhood are occupied by homeowners whereas renters occupy the remainder.


Both primary and secondary schools are straightforward to reach on foot from anywhere in Tweddle Place. However, it can be difficult to get to daycares as a pedestrian. With regards to eating, in most cases, a car is required to do groceries. However, a restaurant is often just around the corner.
