Lastly, although the neighbourhood is not home to any green spaces, parks are especially well-distributed in nearby neighbourhoods, which makes it easy to access them from the majority of locations in University of Calgary.

Transportation

Driving is an excellent transportation option in University of Calgary. It is very easy to park, and the majority of houses for sale are a short drive from the closest highway. The public transit network in University of Calgary is quite practical as a consequence of University Station with access to the Red Line, and about 10 nearby bus lines. Although bicycle riders do not face significant slopes, this part of Calgary is not very cycling-friendly since. Walking is also not particularly practical for house buyers in University of Calgary as few common errands can be run without the use of a car.

Housing

In University of Calgary, many dwellings are townhouses, while small apartment buildings are also present in the housing stock. Most of the housing growth in this area happened in the 1960s and 1970s. This area offers mainly one bedroom and two bedroom homes. Nearly 95% of the units in the neighbourhood are occupied by renters and owners occupy the remainder.

Services

Some, but not all, property owners in this part of the city will reside within walking distance of the closest supermarket. Conversely, there are a fair number of opportunities for those who care about nearby restaurants and cafes. In terms of education, families will value that wherever their house is situated in University of Calgary, both primary and secondary schools are close by. On the other hand, it can be challenging to access daycares as a pedestrian.
