Home buyers who prefer a relaxed atmosphere will enjoy Vaughan Grove. The noise levels in this part of the city are reasonably low, as the streets are usually quite tranquil - however noise can be bothersome closer to one of the railway lines or Highway 407. Finally, it is very easy to reach parks from most locations within the neighbourhood, since there are a few of them nearby for residents to enjoy and the majority of properties for sale have a park a short walk away.

Transportation

Cars are an excellent transportation option in Vaughan Grove. It is very easy to find a parking spot, and many houses for sale are a reasonably short drive from the closest highway. However, commuting by public transit is sometimes challenging in Vaughan Grove. Thankfully, there are a few bus lines passing through the neighbourhood, and the nearest bus stop is usually a short walk away. Vaughan Grove is not especially conducive to walking because few common errands can be run on foot. Vaughan Grove is also not very bike-friendly because the bicycling infrastructure is not very comprehensive, and there are a good number of slopes to challenge cyclists.

Housing

In Vaughan Grove, the majority of dwellings are large apartment buildings, while single detached homes are the main alternative in the housing stock. This neighbourhood also has a good choice of housing size options; homes range from lofts to four or more bedrooms. Homeowners occupy about 85% of the units in the neighbourhood and the remainder are rented. The buildings in this part of Vaughan are very new, since around 45% of its dwellings were constructed after the year 2000, while many of the remaining buildings were built in the 1990s.

Services

In all but a limited number of cases, a vehicle is required to buy groceries. Nonetheless, pharmacies are generally easy to get to on foot and supply some basic food items. This area is a good place in which to eat out, and a small number of cafes can be found as well. Regarding education, parents and their children will value that no matter where their property is located in Vaughan Grove, both primary and secondary schools are nearby. In contrast, there are only a limited number of daycares and accordingly they can be an extended walk away.
