Transportation

Cars are an excellent medium of transportation in this part of the city. It is very convenient to access a parking spot, and it is a short drive to the closest highway from any home in Vialoux. In contrast, residents using public transit may find limited choices in Vialoux as a result of the low service level. This neighbourhood has a very good variety of housing size options, ranging from lofts to four or more bedrooms. The proportions of homeowners and renters are about even. Most of the housing growth in this neighbourhood happened in the 1960s and 1970s.

It is a rather short trip to access daycares and primary schools from anywhere in Vialoux. However, high schools are not numerous and accordingly may require a very long stroll to get to. As far as eating is concerned, it is challenging to get to the nearest grocery store as a pedestrian in this neighbourhood. Furthermore, a restaurant is generally just around the corner, and a small number of coffee shops is available as well. It is also a rather short trip to a reasonable variety of clothing stores.
