Transportation

This reserve is very car friendly. Finding a place to park is easy. This reserve is not very conducive to people who like to travel by foot because almost no common errands can be run without a vehicle. The bicycle is a rather limited method of transportation in Wabasca 166D since there are a good number of hills for cyclists to brave, and the cycling network is quite poor.

Housing

In Wabasca 166D, about 55% of buildings are mobile homes, while single detached homes are the main alternative in the housing stock. The buildings in this reserve are very modern, because around half of its dwellings were constructed following the year 2000, while many of the remaining buildings were built in the 1960s and the 1990s. This part of Division No. 17 offers mainly two bedroom and three bedroom homes. About 80% of the population of this reserve rent their home and owners make up the remainder.

There are only a very small number of high schools in Wabasca 166D and accordingly they can be a very long walk away. Additionally, this reserve does not have any primary schools. Moreover, families may consider it very hard for their children to access daycares by walking. With respect to food, property owners in this reserve almost always have to turn to a car to do their grocery shopping.
