Warren Grove is not very suitable for those who like to travel on foot since running common errands is very impractical without a vehicle. The bike is a rather poor means of transportation in this community as there are a fair number of hills for cyclists to brave, and the cycling network is not very comprehensive.

Housing

In Warren Grove, most buildings are single detached homes, and the rest of the properties are mainly duplexes. This community is primarily composed of four or more bedroom and three bedroom homes. Homeowners occupy about 80% of the units in Warren Grove and the rest are rented. About one third of properties in this part of Queens County were constructed in the 1960s and 1970s, while most of the remaining buildings were built pre-1960 and in the 1990s.

Services

There are only a few high schools in this community and therefore they can be a rather long trip away. Furthermore, Warren Grove does not have any primary schools. Additionally, families may find it challenging for their children to get to daycares as pedestrians. Concerning food, in all but a few cases, a car is needed in this community to reach the closest supermarket. A limited selection of restaurants and coffee shops can be found.
