In contrast, Wellington is reasonably bicycling-friendly as there are a limited number of hills for cyclists to brave, and the bicycling network is very good.

Housing

Single detached homes are the most common housing type, representing around three quarters of buildings in Wellington, but townhouses are also present in the housing stock. This neighbourhood experienced its main building boom prior to the 1960s, so most of the available properties are from this time period.
