On the other hand, this neighbourhood is not very transit friendly. Nevertheless, there are a few bus lines, and bus stops are generally very close by.

In Westview, about 30% of buildings are small apartment buildings, while duplexes and single detached homes are also present in the housing stock. This neighbourhood offers mainly two bedroom and three bedroom homes. Homeowners occupy about 70% of the units in the neighbourhood whereas the remainder are rented. About 40% of properties in this neighbourhood were built in the 1960s and 1970s, while most of the remaining buildings were constructed pre-1960 and in the 2000s.

It is usually possible for property owners in this neighbourhood to shop for general and specialty groceries by walking. In addition, those who like to dine in restaurants or cafes will have a good number of opportunities in Westview.
