Westview Village is especially quiet, as there are low levels of noise from traffic. Parks aren't well-located, making them rather challenging to reach. Still, residents will be able to access parks in nearby neighbourhoods.

Transportation

Driving is an excellent transportation option in Westview Village. Many real estate listings are a reasonably short drive from the nearest highway, and finding a place to park is easy. In contrast, the public transit service in Westview Village is not very frequent. Thankfully, there are a few bus lines crossing the neighbourhood, and it is very convenient to get to a nearby bus stop from most homes. Westview Village is not especially appropriate for bicycling because the cycling infrastructure is fairly poor. Thankfully, there are few slopes to challenge cyclists. Walking is also not very feasible for residents in Westview Village because almost no daily needs can be carried out on foot.

Housing

Nearly 90% of the dwellings in the neighbourhood are occupied by homeowners and the remainder are rented. The large proportion of mobile homes in the housing stock of this neighbourhood is an important part of its character. Around 45% of properties in this part of the city were constructed in the 1960s and 1970s, while many of the remaining buildings were built in the 1980s and the 1990s. There is a higher proportion of three bedroom homes in this neighbourhood.

Services

This area does not contain any high schools or primary schools. In addition, it can be challenging to walk to daycares from properties for sale in this neighbourhood. In terms of eating, a car is often required in this part of the city to reach the nearest supermarket. Nonetheless, pharmacies are typically convenient to get to on foot and supply some staple foods.
