    Transportation

    The car is very often the preferred way to navigate Whytecliff. Many real estate listings are a rather short car ride from the nearest highway, and it is very easy to park. However, the transit in this part of the municipality is not very accessible. Thankfully, the neighbourhood is linked by a few bus lines, and bus stops are ordinarily a short distance away. Cycling is at times difficult in this part of West Vancouver because the cycling network is not very well-developed, and there are quite a few slopes. Traveling as a pedestrian is also not very practical for residents in Whytecliff since almost no common errands can be run without needing a vehicle.

    Nearly 95% of the population of this neighbourhood own their home and renters make up the remainder. Single detached homes and row houses are the main housing type in this neighbourhood. About one third of properties in this area were constructed in the 1960s and 1970s, while the majority of the remaining buildings were built pre-1960 and in the 1980s. This part of West Vancouver offers mainly three bedroom and four or more bedroom homes.

    It is sometimes possible for property owners in Whytecliff to buy their groceries by walking. Residents are served by around 10 restaurants and cafes as well. With respect to education, there are no high schools and no primary schools in Whytecliff. Furthermore, it can be challenging to walk to daycares from houses for sale in this part of West Vancouver.
