Wilson Meadows is very quiet overall, as there are usually low levels of noise from traffic. Public green spaces aren't well-situated, which makes it very hard to access them from a large number of locations within this part of Pickering.
Transportation
The car is usually the preferred approach to navigate Wilson Meadows. It is very easy to find a place to park. Many of the houses for sale in this area are located in areas that are not very conducive to pedestrians as running daily errands is very impractical without a car. The bicycle is a fairly poor means of transportation in this part of Pickering as the terrain is not very flat, and the cycling infrastructure is not very well-developed.

Wilson Meadows experienced its largest building boom pre-1960, so most of the available housing stock is from this era. Additionally, families may consider it very difficult to reach daycares on foot. With regards to food, it is very rarely feasible for house buyers in this neighbourhood to do their grocery shopping by walking.
