Ala (Alexandra) Gowans was born and raised in Burlington and is a graduate of Dalhousie University in International Development Studies. Ala comes from a family with extensive knowledge, experience, and reputation within the Burlington real estate community. She initially decided to pursue a career in real estate to assist with the schedule of her busy mother, Sandy Smallbone. Ala's original role was that of Sandy's administrative assistant, she is now a licensed sales representative within the renowned and reputable Smallbone Team.
