Dave became a licensed real estate agent in December 1991 specializing in residential real estate in the Tri-County area as well as working with multi-residential, commercial and agricultural properties. Volunteered on the Tillsonburg District Real Estate Board for several years and held the office of President in 2011. Dave worked as a professional solo entertainer from 1982-1997. He volunteered at local elementary schools from 1990-2004. He studied radio and television broadcasting in 1972 and volunteered on Rogers Television as a news show host for a year and as a news reporter for several years after in the 1990's.
