Gord Thompson was born in Kincardine and raised in the area, returning from University to live and work in the community. First licensed as a realtor in 1983 at age 28, Gord joined Re/Max Lake Lands Realty (later to become Re/Max Land Exchange Ltd.) in 1996. Over the years Gord has served on many volunteer committees and served several terms in municipal elected office, including a period as Mayor of Kincardine in the early 2000s.
