McQuesten West has a character that caters to a fairly diverse group of people. McQuesten West is very quiet, as noise from streets and other parts of the city is rarely an issue. On the other hand, there are about 10 parks nearby for residents to relax in, such as Sam Manson Park and Red Hill Bowl, which makes them very easy to access. Lastly, even though the ambience is not the liveliest in this part of Hamilton, the vibe can still be quite dynamic around its main streets, and with the nightlife venues in nearby neighbourhoods, it is rather challenging to find a place to grab a drink because they are generally located relatively far away.
