Mary Riopelle

About Me

Mary loves the Collingwood area with all of its great features and amenities. She has enjoyed watching the area grow and gain in popularity.

Graduating from the University of Western Ontario with an Honors B.A. in Visual Arts and a Bachelor of Education from University of Toronto. Mary began a long and fulfilling career in teaching high school art, computer art and photography. She also took a leadership role as the head of the Arts departments in several Barrie high schools.

Real estate seemed like the perfect direction for a career change as Mary has always been interested in all aspects of real estate. “I love the interaction with people, and being able to help them achieve their goals.” She also finds that her background and experiences have really helped her. Along with her husband Rip, they have been home owners, landlords, tackled many renovations and building projects, eventually designing and building the home they live in today. Mary explains, “A lot of the time I can really speak from experience when helping out my clients.”

Mary loves living in the Collingwood/Blue Mountains area “because there is so much to do, and so many things going on”. She loves anything outdoors; on snow, land or water. Snowshoeing, hiking, road and trail biking, paddle boarding and kayaking on the bay are some of her favorite things, along with her first love, skiing.

Mary has helped organize many events, always willing to help and contribute. Some of her current Fundraising efforts are Cycle for Sight, Track 3, Home for the Cure, Canadian Cancer Society, NZ Foundation.

Awarded the RE/MAX Executive Club in 2013 and the 100% Club in 2014, Mary has been recognized by RE/MAX Ontario-Atlantic Canada Inc. for outstanding sales achievements. She is dedicated to obtaining the result her clients are looking for while providing them with outstanding, personable service.
