The character of Osgoode is exemplified by its relaxed environment. A large number of locations in the neighbourhood have fairly good access to public green spaces, including Harold Barnhart Park and W.A. Taylor Conservation Area, since the majority of properties for sale have one around the corner and there are about 20 parks close by for residents to relax in. This neighbourhood is especially quiet overall, as noise from streets and other parts of the city is rarely an issue.
