No matter what type of character home buyers prefer in a neighbourhood, Queenston is a fairly good option. Even though the ambience is not the most lively in this part of St. Catharines finding one of the about 10 bars is very easy because they are generally situated in very convenient locations. Queenston is quiet overall, as the streets are usually quite calm, although there are still several noisier sections, especially around the railway line, Queen Elizabeth Way or Highway 406. There are approximately 40 public green spaces close by for residents to enjoy, such as Burgoyne Woods Park and Fairview Park, and they are very well-spread out, which results in them being easy to access from the majority of locations within Queenston.
