Fairview has a character that appeals to a fairly diverse group of people. Fairview is good for those who prefer a quiet atmosphere, as there isn't a lot of street noise or city clamour, however some parts can be quite noisy, especially near Queen Elizabeth Way. On the other hand, it is easy to access public green spaces in the neighbourhood since there are approximately 30 of them close by for residents to unwind in.
