Swansea is a "jack-of-all-trades" when it comes to the ambience of this area. Although this part of Toronto is not known for its lively atmosphere, its busier streets can still be quite energetic, and finding one of the a few nightlife venues is very easy since they are generally located around the corner. Swansea is reasonably quiet overall, as there tend to be low levels of noise from traffic, however some areas can be quite loud, especially closer to the railway line or F G Gardiner Expressway. The greenery in this area is very prominent as many tree-lined streets are present. Green spaces, such as Rennie Park and South Humber Park, are very well-spread out and there are about 40 of them close by for residents to discover, making them very easy to reach from most locations in Swansea.
