People who prefer a slower-paced atmosphere will enjoy Old East York. This part of Toronto is quiet overall, as there isn't a lot of street noise or city clamour - although that is not the case near Don Valley Parkway. Finally, greenery is reasonably prominent in this area as the majority of streets have fairly good tree coverage. Parks, including Taylor Creek Park and E. T. Seton Park, are very well-spread out and there are over 50 of them nearby for residents to relax in, making them very easy to reach.
