High Park-Swansea has a character that appeals to a fairly diverse group of people. Even though the atmosphere is not the most lively in this area, its main streets are still quite energetic, and with its a few bars, it is very easy to find a place to grab a drink as they are generally located very close by. Main streets, including Roncesvalles Avenue, are excellent for those who enjoy going out. Most areas in High Park-Swansea are quiet, as the streets are generally quite tranquil, although that is not the case near the railway line. This part of Toronto also features much greenery as there are a large number of tree-lined streets. Access to public green spaces from the majority of locations within the neighbourhood, such as Palace Pier Park and Sir Casimir Gzowski Park, is very easy since there are over 50 of them nearby for residents to check out.
