South Riverdale is a "jack-of-all-trades" when it comes to the feel of this area. It is very easy to find lively streets in this neighbourhood. Numerous entertainment venues can be found nearby, there are crowds of people around most of the time, and places to go out at night are well-spread throughout the area. South Riverdale is reasonably quiet overall, as noise from streets and other parts of the city is rarely an issue, although that is not the case close to Don Valley Parkway, F G Gardiner Expressway or one of the railway lines. There is a fair amount of greenery in this part of the city as there are many tree-lined streets. There are over 100 green spaces nearby for residents to check out, such as Ward's Island Park and Kew Gardens, and they are especially well-located, which results in them being very easy to access from many locations within the neighbourhood.
