Columbia has a character that caters to a fairly diverse group of people. Even though this part of the city is not known for its vibrancy, the vibe can still be quite energetic around its busier streets, and it is very easy to find bars as they are well-distributed throughout the area. Columbia is reasonably quiet overall, as the streets tend to be quite tranquil, although that is not the case closer to the railway line. Public green spaces, like Moses Springer Park and Waterloo Park, are very well-situated and there are over 50 of them close by for residents to check out, resulting in them being easy to access from a large number of locations within Columbia.
