King George is a "jack-of-all-trades" when it comes to the ambience of this area. Even though the atmosphere is not the most lively in this part of Saskatoon with the bars in nearby neighbourhoods, it is very difficult to find a place to grab a drink as they are generally located very far. King George is especially quiet, as noise from the streets and other parts of the city is rarely an issue. Most locations within the neighbourhood have reasonably good access to public green spaces, like Glenn Reeve Fields and Gabrial Dumont Park, since there are approximately 20 of them close by for residents to check out.
