Background: I have lived in the Kootenays for a grand total of 51 years, 27 of which have been in the Creston area. I have spent much of this time in service to the public. I am past President of Creston’s GoGo Grannies—a fundraising group for the Stephen Lewis Foundation that assists children in Africa who have been orphaned by HIV. I am a member of the Creston BC Lions Club and have worked closely with the Creston Valley Blossom Festival Committee each year. For 28 years I have assisted local seniors in the dual-role of caregiver and advocate, which I continue to do today on a volunteer basis. I appreciate the teamwork and camaraderie these local organizations provide and get great satisfaction out of helping community members in need. Experience: I have been a member of the RE/MAX Discovery team since 2005, offering services in both real estate trading and property management. I am known for my straight-forward, no-nonsense approach to real estate and for going above-and-beyond what is expected of a real estate professional. I am a member of the Association of Interior Realtors, the BC Real Estate Association, and the Canadian Real Estate Association. In 2020, I had the honour of becoming a member of the RE/MAX Hall of Fame. I know property in Creston and I have a deep sense of pride in my own home.
